What we collect

When you complete this form, we ask for your name, business email address, organisation, and role. You can also choose to provide your phone number, but this is optional.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use your information for two purposes:

1. To deliver the content you have requested. We will send the whitepaper or report to the email address you provide. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically, our interest in providing the content you have asked for.

2. To follow up with you about how EDERA Lab might support your business. A member of our team may contact you by email or phone to discuss your work and whether our services could be helpful to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically, our interest in offering relevant services to individuals who have shown interest in our subject-matter expertise. We have considered your interests and reasonable expectations and concluded that, as someone who has actively requested a B2B whitepaper from a marketing agency, you would reasonably expect such follow-up. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing hello@ederalab.com.

Marketing emails (only if you choose)

If you tick the marketing consent box on this form, we will also add you to our marketing email list and send you occasional emails with insights, new content, and updates about our services. Our lawful basis for this is your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing hello@ederalab.com. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

You do not need to tick the marketing consent box to download the content.

Who handles your information

Your information is stored in our customer relationship management platform, HubSpot, which acts as our processor under a written data processing agreement. HubSpot is based in the United States and is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an appropriate safeguard for the transfer of personal data outside the United Kingdom.

We do not sell your information, share it with third parties for their marketing purposes, or enrich it with data obtained from other sources.

How long we keep it

If you do not become a client and do not opt in to marketing, we will delete your data 24 months after you downloaded the content.

If you opt in to marketing, we will keep your data for as long as your consent is current. If you do not engage with our emails for 24 months, we will either re-confirm your consent or delete your data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights, or ask any questions, by emailing hello@ederalab.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you are in the EU/EEA, to your local data protection supervisory authority.
