Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 May 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Globally Outsourced Marketing Ltd, trading as EDERA Lab ("EDERA Lab", "we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at www.ederalab.com (the "Website").
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we handle personal data.
This policy is provided in accordance with Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 ("PECR") and the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR").
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and store some information about your preferences or past actions.
Other technologies, such as pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits, work in similar ways. In this policy, we use the word "cookies" to refer to all of these technologies.
Cookies can be:
First-party cookies, set by the website you are visiting; or
Third-party cookies, set by a different organisation whose services are integrated into the website (for example, an analytics provider).
They can also be:
Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser; or
Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
make the Website function correctly;
understand how visitors use the Website, so we can improve it; and
support our customer relationship management activities (for example, recognising returning enquirers and improving the relevance of our communications, where you have given consent).
We do not use cookies for online advertising, retargeting, or profiling for marketing purposes. We do not allow third parties to use cookies on the Website for their own advertising purposes.
4. Your consent
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Website to function are set automatically and do not require your consent. These cookies are essential for things like security, basic navigation, and remembering your cookie preferences.
For all other cookies, including analytics and CRM cookies, we will only place them on your device after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. When you first visit the Website, you will see a banner asking you to accept, reject, or manage your cookie preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of the Website.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a new cookie is set. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Website may not work properly.

5. The cookies we use
The tables below describe the cookies we use on the Website, grouped by category. Cookie names and durations can change as third-party providers update their services; we review this list periodically and keep it as accurate as we reasonably can.
5.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Website to function and cannot be switched off. They do not store any personally identifiable information.
5.2 Analytics cookies (require consent)
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website, so we can improve it. They collect information in aggregate or pseudonymous form.
We have configured Google Analytics 4 to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
5.3 CRM and functional cookies (require consent)
These cookies support our customer relationship management activities, for example, recognising returning enquirers and improving the relevance of our communications.
6. Third-party providers and international transfers
Some of the cookies on the Website are set by third-party providers based outside the United Kingdom. When personal data is transferred to a country outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards under Article 46 UK GDPR, for Google LLC and HubSpot, Inc. (both US-based), we rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the "UK-US Data Bridge"). Both organisations are currently certified under this framework.
For more information about international transfers, please see our Privacy Policy.
7. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") setting that signals to websites that you do not wish to be tracked. There is currently no industry-standard way of responding to DNT signals, so the Website does not respond to them. You can, however, control cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings, as described above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, the law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
